Short bio

Dr. Antonio Bucchiarone is a researcher in the DAS Research Unit at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in Trento, Italy. He received his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering, from IMT of Lucca (Italy) in July 2008. Since 2004 he has been a collaborator of Formal Methods and Tools Group at ISTI-CNR of Pisa (Italy). Moreover, he has been visiting at Nokia Siemens Networks in Lisbon involved in a research project on Software Architectures for Embedded Systems. His PhD thesis topic was on Dynamic Software Architecture-based development and analysis techniques of Global Computing Systems.

His main research interests include formal modeling and analysis of collective, adaptive and service-based systems. He has been actively involved in various research projects including the FP7 projects: ALLOW Ensembles, ALLOW, S-Cube, Sensoria and ModControl and in the organization of workshops and tracks of conferences, among which BPCAS at BPM 2014, International Workshop on Business Processes in Collective Adaptive Systems, and SA-TTA at ACM SAC from 2013 to 2015, Track on Software Architecture: Theory, Technology, and Applications. From 2014 he is also a member of the Editorial Board of the IET Software Journal (The Institution of Engineering and Technology).
